PEACOCK BUILDING
Thomas, WV

Spurred by a demand for affordable, quality rental housing in Thomas, West Virginia, Vandalia Heritage Foundation acquired the Peacock Building, located on Front Street in the Thomas Commercial Historic District, in 2002. The project is designed to assist artisans and craft persons in establishing viable businesses by locating studios and galleries in one convenient location. Upper levels of the structure have been developed as residential units and artisan studios. Currently, the street floor houses commercial retail space as a home to the Mountain Made Country Store.
